Great bench, arrived quickly and undamaged. Wood is medium colored as shown online (sorry my photo is backlit by a window and makes it look darker). Cushion is very firm do NOT recommend plopping down to test sitting. Double check the hardware before opening everything. We were missing a few long screws for the bottom, but had the right size at home and were able to substitute them in. Seem to be other comments after reading many more of them. Not a one off issue, buyer beware. Also has protective slides on the legs in white, on dark wood.
