Care instructions are a vacuum, shake, and rotate the rug regularly. Remove dried spots immediately by scraping carefully towards the middle of the spot. Do not rub wet spots. Absorb moisture with paper towels. Front loading machine washable without detergent, do not use detergent and do not use spin cycle (cold/cold, delicate cycle, no dryer, no bleach, hang or lay flat to dry). Easy to clean and wash, spot cleaning if necessary with mild soap (detergent) and a damp cloth.

So pleased with this rug. It is real wool so it will shed. We have had it a few months in our bathroom (so it gets daily walking) and the shedding is almost down to nothing.
