My fault for not checking on the material of the rug. The picture makes it appear like cotton but it's made from jute. I probably wouldn't have ordered had I known that, but now that I received the rug and see it works as I wanted, I'll keep it. The colors aren't as vibrant in person as depicted in the picture, either. Definitely measure your space so you get the sizing right.
