I wanted a bookshelf with a cabinet to hide my router, home pod, etc. This works, and I like it a lot, but it took a bit of “customization.” Because it mounts to the wall, we cut holes in the back and bottom to allow access to outlets. This also allowed me to display my digital frame.. Therese. St. Louis, MO. Wed Jul 15 2026

Overall, the wall units look nice in our living room (we bought two). Each took my wife and I about two hours to assemble. Instructions were thorough, but you really need to be careful and double check every step. After we completed the assembly, we noticed that the part eight and nine (middle) shelves were installed upside down on one of the units. Also, the round stickers provided to cover the locking screws are very flimsy. They are just sticky paper that has very little surface area with which to adhere. We ended up using Elmer’s glue to keep them down. Other than the shelf inside the cabinet, none of the other shelves are adjustable. Also, I certainly would not place anything too heavy on the shelves (like lots of hardcover books) as they do not appear Capable of providing sufficient support without bending.. Tom. Bluffton, SC. Beautiful bookcase. Works perfectly for our space. My only complaint is that the cam locks that hold in the top are horribly engineered. Cam locks only work when they're tightly engineered to grip the peg. Ours didn't grip the peg at all, and the top is still loose! It doesn't really affect the structural integrity of the shelf since it just holds the top shelf, but still. There's no reason why the top couldn't have been fastened via machine bolts going through the top into the end grain of the vertical segments.. Marco. Ithaca, New York. Wed Oct 21 2026

Love this bookcase. It took me about three hours to put together by myself. Pro tip is to put the base of the unit on gliders so you can move it to its final destination with ease. This is a very heavy unit so you may need someone to help you lift the top section to place on the base.. Grace. Hypoluxo, FL. Fri Sep 25 2026
