The good: We bought the 14x10 and it is heavy duty. I haven't fixed it to my deck yet, but I doubt that would even be necessary because it's heavy and sturdy. It gets 4 stars because I'm confident it will serve its purpose for a long time. The bad: I can't give it 5 stars because assembly was difficult, even with 2 people in their 30s. It took us a total of around 10-12 hours over a few days. When assembling the large/heavy support beams, you will probably need to have some kind of supporting table or shelf to lean them on (or have a person hold a large piece while someone affixes it to another) to prevent bending. You'll also need at least one step ladder and a Phillips head screwdriver, which the description fails to mention and isn't included. Absolutely stunning! The only complaint we have is the assembly. The roof was very difficult to put together and I highly recommend having at least four people to help. There were only two of us and it took 20 hours in two days. The tools provided were an Allen wrench and another tool to hold the bolts. We really love the size and style of the solarium. It is very sturdy and we have had no issues with opening and closing the doors. I will say that the inside top flaps do not run flush and insects are able to get in. I think with some manipulating you might be able to better secure them but I have not yet tried. Nice Pergola It’s solid but a little lower than I had envisioned. The front has a shallow gutter with ends open. I’m a trying to figure out how to hang a gutter. It’s very hard to drill.
