Nice and heavy and waterproof.. Jackie. US. Wed Oct 14 2026

This shade sail is made of a thick but flexible material that should provide just the right amount of protection from the sun without being a total "sunblock" (or completely waterproof) and the reinforced attachment points on the sail seem sufficiently strong. I haven't yet installed it, but the included kit appears to be very comparable to the separate installation kit I ordered just in case the included kit was flimsier or more difficult to use. This particular brand of sail offered a lot of different size options, which is ideal if you are looking for a sail to fit a space with unequal distances between the triangle points. The sail I ordered measures 20' x 20' x 28.3'. it came with a installation hardware kit but I can't yet comment on whether the hardware kit works well. I also ordered another hardware kit in case I needed a different installation option than the one included. Unfortunately, Wayfair said it delivered both when I never received the additional hardware kit. After waiting 3 days to see if there was a problem with how the item was scanned, I have reported the missing delivery and hope that I will receive that other installation kit so that I can choose which kit will work better for installing the sai.. This heavy-duty, waterproof, shade sail is a beautiful color, and will endure the high winds of the desert. The best part of this 12x12 foot triangle sail, is the sturdy, well-made winch kit that comes with the sail. It was not difficult to install, and because of the winch, easily adjusted so it’s not too loose, and not too taut. I love the splash of color it gives the back patio!. Leslie. Palm Springs, CA. This shade sail is exactly what we needed to work with 2 other shade sails we had previously purchased. The blue color is beautiful and the permeability allows sun to be blocked but it won't gather water.. Deann. Marietta, PA. Sun Jul 12 2026

The material is lightweight but also provides a lot of shade and seems to be sturdy. The wrinkles have smoothed out, and the shade is now very nice in appearance. The gray color is neutral and pleasant. Very glad we ordered this one.. Reta. The Colony, TX. Wed Sep 23 2026

Returning this sail because the fabric is more like a tarp than a shade that looks decent to the neighbors. The hardware kit seemed very solid, though, so I was tempted to keep the product just for the hardware (replacing the sail or improvising);.. Heather. Kittery Point, ME. Sat Sep 12 2026

Purchased to provide shade my patio plants from the sun. Prior to purchase my plants were getting sunburned and drying out quickly. As you can see by the pictures, the patio trees are flourishing. The color and quality of the sail was spot on. I did not tighten the sail completely yet. I was giving it about a month to stretch allowing for a taunter fit.. Janet. Merced, CA. Fri Sep 04 2026

These are amazing! Much better quality than I thought they would be. They are also quite large, so I only needed 2 to cover a large deck, and they were placed in an overlap position. They are complicated to install, so make sure you get the right people to help you.. Barbara. Los Angeles, CA. Sat Jun 27 2026

I love my new sail shade. Just what I’d hoped it would be like installing. As a 78 year old fella, I had it attached to my house in no time at all. Now, I’ve got to find a way to layer another one. Back soon.. Robert. Roanoke, VA. Wed May 15 2024

This sun shade came very well packed and includes the hardware. It is a durable and thick material, but not too heavy so that it will sag. After It was hung, it blew a little in the breeze and did not pull the hangers down from the fence poles.. Denise. Saint Simons Island, GA. Mon Oct 27 2025

The fabric has a great texture and color. The included ropecable setup will make installation much easier. Everything feels strong and secure. It provides excellent shade for the koi pond. Overall, this was a great value and a simple way to transform the pond. Very happy with this purchase. Definitely a great value for the price.. Renee. Fri Apr 10 2026
