Assembly involves screwing in four leg legs (3 screws each plus a base pad per leg), and that's it! Deducting 1 star, though, because one of the panels of the table arrived detached from the frame. I’m very happy with this gray patio table. Assembly was surprisingly easy, even though some of the parts were mislabeled. It’s lightweight enough to move around but still feels sturdy and well made. This is a lovely table! It’s high quality and fairly heavy duty. It mounts in the middle and holds the two halves together. It did take awhile to assemble and required a lot of wrenching and tightening and adjusting to get just right. I like the wood grain look and expect it to stay in good shape for years to come..
