Schumacher Wallpaper Birds

A modern approach to the ancient tradition of hand painted plum and cherry blossom wallpaper panels. For those who want a chinoiserie mural look with the ease of a roll wallpaper. On metallic grasscloth, the layered blossoms and branches represents a modern approach to chinoiserie. The inspiration of the plum or cherry blossoms represents the delicate fragility and the beauty of life. It’s a reminder that life is almost overwhelmingly beautiful but that it is also tragically short. When the cherry blossom trees bloom for a short time each year in they serve as a visual reminder of how precious and how precarious life is. A sophisticated chinoiserie for the most discriminating interior designers in the world.

Absolutely in LOVE with this paper! First off, it's made in The USA, not China. The quality is made in America. I can't stop looking at how the metallic hues pop every time the light hits it. Worth every dollar!. Sylvia. Los Angeles, CA. Sun Apr 06 2025

This celebrated pattern derives from a hand-printed 1960s wallcovering in their archives. Its whimsical creatures take flight amid twining foliage.

Master bathroom-I’ve been wanting this wallpaper for about 5 years, but couldn’t bring myself to spend that much money on it for an accent wall (there was a 2roll minimum at the time). I checked to see if there had been a price reduction and lo & behold, there it was!! Purchased immediately!! It’s so beautiful!! Very whimsical and I love it!! The only reason for 4 stars a 5, the instructions were basically useless. Had to watch several YouTube videos to understand how to hang (or hire a professional). Joining and trimming lines/arrows proved to be challenging as they were not plumb or straight for the entire roll. Hubs had to purchase a laser level to get it straight enough to match up. Wondering if these were ‘seconds’.... this is a lot of money but overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase!! . Pamela. Tiplersville, MS. Sat Jul 04 2020
