It can be machine washed, using mild detergent, and cannot be bleached. It can be turned over for drying or ironed.

These are in the style of a Roman shade, which is a nice concept for covering the glass panel in French Doors. They are magnetic, so easy to position up or drop down. However, instead of some type of metal or sturdy resin material, the “rod” inserts at the back of the shade are cheap plastic tubes which do not fit tightly enough or stay together very well— when inserting to the back of the curtain, the sections come apart. There are several colors to choose from, and the material is lightweight, but blocks even the strong sunlight we have in the desert. Pediments are the portion of the trim that is located above the pilasters, which are the column like frames on the sides of windows and doors. Directly below the pediments though, between the pediment and the pilasters, is a crosshead or breast board. The crosshead is the flatter, protruding section directly above the door. Pediments can be purchased by themselves or can come with a crosshead already attached. These Pediments are manufactured out of a high-density urethane, which is made to resemble wood without the maintenance required by wood products. Urethane products are resistant to cracking, splitting and rotting. They are usually less expensive than wood alternatives.
