Love this shelf for our toddler's room. It's incredibly sturdy. Very easy for my to put together by myself, though an extra set of hands would have made it even easier. The shelves are at a fixed position. I think this is what makes it so sturdy, but a little bit of a bummer it's not adjustable. My grandchildren have put it to the test with books, toys, games, electronics, a tv on the top shelf, and pet bowls on the bottom shelf. I needed a small shelf for a corner for my overflowing book collection. This holds quite a few books while not taking up too much space. It looks decent and does the job. It’s a little less stable on carpet than I would like so if you have kids definitely secure it.
