There are a couple of things to be aware of: 1) Although easy to do, there are many pieces to assemble, so count on maybe 2-3 hours of time to fully assemble the desk, hutch and all of the drawers. 2) Given the type of coated particle board construction that is used, there were some small blemishes on corners/ends of a few of the pieces. I do like the desk. The assembly was not too difficult if you are accustomed to assembling furniture. I spread the assembly out over three days so I could take my time and not feel rushed. It would have been helpful if the “cabinet members” and “drawer runners” had been marked more clearly on each of the individual pieces. Cute desk. Took several hours to assemble. I wish the instruction would have descriptions rather than just pictures. Don't use power tools. The hardest part to follow was the railings for the drawers, I got some of them backwards and had to fix when I got to the drawer assembly.
