A beautiful piece. Know that the length works IF you don't tuck in the spread under pillows. Width is not sufficient to cover both sides equally to the floor. This could be a function of our king mattress being tall, however. The width is not a problem, however, since only one side of the bed faces the entrance to the bedroom. Color: We got the gold/burgundy. Gold is the operative word, and in certain light, the color is more like a paper bag. In retrospect, we should have chosen the off-white or the brown. To get more variation in the color and to see a little of the burgundy, I flipped the spread on upside down. Now, I can see more variation in the color and a LITTLE of the burgundy. Exactly as shown in the website photo and exactly as I had hoped! My bed is low and I have a queen size bed - so I get the king size quilts so they are to the floor and I don’t have to look at the area between the quilt’s end and the floor (plus my platform bed will not keep a nice bed ruffle in place). This fits well from side to side and does not drag on the carpet! I love the white - it provides a clean and crisp feel for my room. The quilted material is very soft and well sewn.
