The desk is great overall. I really like the finish and it’s heavy which, for me speaks to the quality of the build. It was a relatively easy process to assemble as well. Unfortunately, there were several dings in the desk that I believe resulted from being delivered by FedEx rather than the delivery company that usually delivers larger pieces of furniture. Therefore, this very large and heavy desk was delivered by one man. I honestly don’t even know how he got it up on the front porch all on his own. I really like this desk. I think its great. However, I only recommended it for those ready for the technical and physical challenges and have the skills, time, and patience for assembling things like this. The instructions describe the general order of assembly and are insufficient on certain details. It comes in five boxes, so be sure to do a complete inventory before starting. I spent more than 24 hours (with break times) for unpacking, inventory, and assembly, including getting the drawers and doors operating smoothly to running, wrapping, and placement of power, video, and data cables so that they are just right.
