This retro-inspired, boxy geometric instantly draws the eye and visually heightens a space. Skyboxes are embedded in a circuit of metallic lines.

This was my second wallpaper project purchased from Wayfair. This pattern was easy to line up and put up. I used glue from my local hardware store and paired it with the blue grey paint to transform my living room from blah brown to a fun blue grey. This pattern is somewhat forgiving meaning that unless you are standing really close to it mistakes won’t appear super obvious. At least not to me! The only frustrating issue was how long it took to receive it. However, I think this was more due to COVID than Wayfair. Overall, I am pleased with the way this feature wall turned out. An organic and instinctual painter, Artist Sarah Stockstill’s process relies on a foundation of several layers of texture that is applied and sanded back to get a smooth surface that lets her most immediate marks shine on the surface. Responding to color and forms, she follows as led. Sometimes into a deep horizon with traces of landscape, an organic jungle of pattern, a human figure, and every now and then an animal with an ethereal mystique. Sometimes the layering is broad, covering the entire canvas, and sometimes it is minute, focusing and embellishing a possible overlooked element of the painting which in turn becomes the center of interest. Most layers are created and taken away, leaving small traces whose threads become more important for doing so.
