I've had this flooring in my home for a few years now. Decided to finish out one last room and realized we short. Ordered two more boxes from Wayfair. They came fast and worked great. This floor is forgiving for most things. It can scratch if you move furniture around carelessly but I haven't had too many issues other than dropping something sharp (a vent cover) on it. I really wanted to check out the quality of the product before actually committing to it. I have applying this over a stone floor to hopefully have a cleaner look overall. Since the actual project requires nearly 5000 sq ft I want to make sure that this project will maintain the design continuity and overall quality standard I'm looking for. That can be tricky when you want to stay under $10.00 per foot. I also had my installer give me his opinion since he's the one who's going to have to work with it. From my prospective the color is what I'm looking for, and the Herringbone design will give just enough texture in these large rooms to be interesting. Well the product itself is okay-ish. It looks decent for fake wood look and the pattern doesn’t repeat in the box of six planks. It fits together perfectly and with ease. There is a slight strip of discoloration along the edges on some planks. The color is a very muted unsaturated brown. One plank was damaged in shipping right in the middle of the also the bigger issue is that the rest of the boxes I ordered to complete the project are back ordered for six months. I Just installed this floor so I can’t speak to the durability of it just yet. I have a very active Schnauzer and 9 year and it’s been great and super easy to maintain. Installation was a breeze (a local contractor installed it) and ordering from wayfair was amazing (ordered 800sq feet). We did three rooms on the main level. The first picture is with natural light for reference. Planks are a good width with decent thickness. Engineered hardwood flooring has a layered construction. The top of each plank is 100% wood, available in a variety of species and on-trend styles. The core is 5 to 7 layers of plywood, crisscrossed and bonded together. On the bottom is another layer of wood. This layered construction brings additional stability to engineered hardwood, making it less likely to expand and shift from environmental changes—and more appropriate for basements and other challenging installations.
