They are sticky, but for the edge, you can use some contact glue on the underlayer to enhance it. Black bamboo has culms that are green when they first emerge from the ground, and within months they acquire the natural black color with dark-brown patches that give this bamboo a beautiful, rich, appearance. The culms of this bamboo are used extensively in Japanese woodworking and are excellent for indoor and outdoor decoration. Our Timor black timber bamboo poles come in an average of 2-3 inches in diameter. They are made up of a thick wall of heavy bamboo and are crack-resistant. Color and actual diameter will vary due to the natural material. We cannot guarantee a specific diameter of each pole, only that they will be between the diameter of 2-3 inches. Bamboo poles may also have different diameters at either end, this is due to the way bamboo grows.
