These are a great alternative to a floating wall for decoration. This is in the bathroom and I think it goes well. Absolutely love how these turned out. I followed the directions and washed the protective oil off of the metal brackets (warm water and dish soap), let them dry completely, and then sealed with clear polyurethane.
