Was looking for a cool mis-matched abstract style salt & pepper mill, so I was thrilled to stumble across this pair of misfits. They are a nice large size, look exactly as pictured, and so far work great. Yes, they do leave debris behind where they sit, but that's been the nature of every mill I've ever owned, so not an issue for me. My only complaint so far is that I haven't found a way to adjust the pepper grind size, so it comes out a bit chunky. I shopped around at every kitchen store imaginable and hated the selections. I’m happy I didn’t settle until I found these. The paint is just as pictured and looks elegant without being too formal or too farmhouse (yuck). I love the wide base so they don’t tip over, and the holes are different for salt and pepper. I imagine they will be quite durable even with little kids using them. The plug for refilling is rubber and I think that will last with care.
