The large chicken coop comes with a chicken run and has two large nesting boxes. The chicken house has four perches with large removable sliding trays for easy cleaning. There are six access points for easy access to all areas of the coop. Features three ventilation windows in the sleeping area to keep it well ventilated. Galvanized wire mesh walls and a series of locks at each access point keep your family animals safe inside and from predators. Sliding door with steel sliding bar locks ducks safely inside the coop.

I made quite a few modifications to make this coop more useful. I used strong magnets across the top so we could reach into the run. We added stair tread to the roost ramp so our ladies didn’t slip around anymore. I’d planned to use a solar door opener to let the gals in and out, but I was one day over the 30 day return window and Wayfair wouldn’t let me return it even for store credit. The chicken coop is a great product, perfect for beginners and experienced chicken owners alike! The construction was straightforward and the instructions were easy to follow. It took about 4 hours to build. It would be perfect for a backyard. The run is small so I wouldn’t have more than 6-10 chickens if you’re not planning to free range. We will free range so I would be comfortable housing more in there. It is convenient height for collecting eggs and cleaning out waste. I really like this run! If you don’t over stretchpull the chicken wire, you can get it nice and taught without waves and sags. I cut the chicken wire in 21 foot lengths, so that there was plenty on the outside bottom for cinder blocks or something to weight everything down.
