I am completely in love with this. I’m using it to give my bantam chickens, a safe place to be outside during the day it went together really easily. The only cons are the latches aren’t that great a raccoon could definitely open them so I’m gonna have to change that and I decided to put the roof on backwards so that I can open it above the roosting bar giving me access to the entire pen.. I really like this run! If you don’t over stretchpull the chicken wire, you can get it nice and taught without waves and sags. I cut the chicken wire in 21 foot lengths, so that there was plenty on the outside bottom for cinder blocks or something to weight everything down. Excellent duck coop. Easy to set up with my grand childrens assistance. I added more layers of poultry wire and hardware cloth to the sides and top make break-ins more difficult. Also hardware cloth used as ground floor and apron covered with sod and then pine shavings. Placed the heavy duty XL anti-diggers around the perimeter. We have not had any intrusions in this set-up.. It’s a great run for the chickens. The Instructions are not the greatest. Basically just pictures with few words, numbering the parts would have made the whole process easier. After a little bit of trial and error we were able to get it all set up. This does take a very long time to assemble and your fingers will hurt from all the zip ties. The wire included isn’t strong enough to prevent predators from getting in. So we added hardwire around the lower half. Overall it works great for what we intended. Cage was exactly what I expected. We put a nesting box in for our broody chicken and her eggs. I think it will be perfect for when this weekend when chicks are born and they need to go outside. The flock will be able to see them and get use to them. I've never done this before so it will be interesting. The cage went together easily and when our hen is done we are planning on using it to plant clover and let it grow so hens can't eat it before its fully grown. When we're ready we can easily pick it up and move it to start something else to grown that they can't get into until we are ready. I like the metal coop. The door handle I never did figure-out. I used bungies and that worked fine. There are some procedures but for the last bit of it. The tarp is an inch short around the edges and the bar supporting the coop will buckle if you have a lot of rain (need a draining plan). I think I am going to rig some roof panel to funnel off the rain. Its light and I can move it around, chickens can make a mess and now they are sitting in water. The extra tarps and what-not are to help secure from predators, weather (1st picture) and last night's storm (2nd picture). Chickens safe in their coop, now I'll put it all back after storm and continue to make better.
