This looks good, not cheap particle board. However, I can't give 5 stars because it is so cheaply made. I don't think it's obvious unless you've assembled it. The metal is so thin- two pieces were warped from shipping . The wood is super lightweight pine. You can carve in it with a fingernail. There are already several scuffs on it before assembly. The instructions are poor. We had to take apart and put back together several times because key details were not included. Also, it shows the last step is installing glass doors, but that's impossible to do with the top piece on so I had to take it off to put doors on. There drawer has no rail or fittings , so it doesn't close all the way. In all it's better than mdf , but not worth the $ and I have serious doubts it will hold up long without scratches .. Milo. I usually never write a review but, we love this tv stand! After looking at many online TV stands, we decided on this one. I didnt know what to expect as this was my first furniture purchase from Wayfair. The box arrived in great shape. The inside was very well packed and protected in every way. I am 76 years old and am proud to say I put it together myself. I only needed help with putting the top in place. I just took my time and it came out great! This tv stand is beautiful and the materials and the feel are very high quality. It was not difficult to put together it came with everything needed as well as extra pieces. The only problem is that there are no openings in the backboard for wires to go through.
