It was surprisingly difficult to assemble, still not super hard but definitely not what I expected from a snap together shelf. So worth it though. Love this closet system! The shelves do protrude back an extra inches. But that worked since behind that bottom drawers I have baseboard. (So the shelves back touch my wall) Several reviews mentioned screws popping through, if you don’t use a drill to tighten the screw, then that won’t happen.
