These chairs looked similar to one’s in a furniture store for much less money and I’ve had good luck with Wayfair pieces before, so I ordered set of 2 to try. They were easy to put together, I was able to do pretty quickly myself except, the screws (10) 4 to attach seat, 6 to finish legs. There are not any pre-drilled holes for these screws. which made me nervous like other reviewers had stated, and I was afraid of the wood splitting. Therefore, to be safe I did have my husband use his impact drill to do the screws. They came out great, they’re very comfortable. Good quality went ahead and ordered four more. Only issue was some of the legs on bottom (see photos)were not finished with black and just unfinished wood. Don’t really see so not deal breaker for me, especially for great price. Also will need to get some type of floor protectors to add to legs. Overall, extremely happy with the quality and amazing price of these chairs. Would recommend and buy again. Shelley. NY. Ordered two of these individual chairs to complete the set of 4 I got with my extendable table. We didn’t put together the first four (assembly was complimentary with that order) so this was my first time putting them together. Pretty easy and didn’t have much trouble. Love these chairs. They seat is very wide and comfortable. The cross cross back is just the look I was going for. Note that with the matching table, you can’t fit all six chairs under the table. Since our toddler usually sits at the end and likes to get in and out of his seat often during a meal, his chair is usually always pushed out anyway, so this doesn’t bother me, but worth noting. The seat cushions are ones I found at a yard sale so not the right size but good enough for now. The chairs are sturdy and this set overall is the perfect blend of casualfarmhouse without being *too* rustic. Large sturdy real wood chairs. These chairs have a presence. Was not expecting assembly to be complicated. They suggest two persons and it requires leveling. My handyman did it himself fairly quickly. smooth brown color. This does require assembly so will update once that is done. But nice clear instructions and well packed. Quality wood. Furthermore, the chairs are exquisitely hand crafted with gorgeous mango wood. They are so sturdy that they will last beyond my lifetime, that is for sure. BTW just this morning I was sitting at the table and I noticed that my feet had naturally gone to the foot rest without my thinking about it! Yes, *just* like the good old days. I love these chairs. I love the look of these chairs. I did stain them to match my kitchen table. My only issue with them was there was some chemicals or glue not sure which that was on some spots. They werent noticeable until the stain was on and blotchy. I had to sand down those spots and re stain. I did not enjoy having to redo half of the chairs. I had 6 chairs. It took forever to prestain, stain, sand down then prestain, stain again then a coat of poly, lightly sand then poly again. BUT they do look great after all of that.
