Live edge means that the wood used to build these one-of-a-kind pieces are rough-sawn and have not been run through the mill and cut in a straight line. It also means that we embrace the sections of the tree that may include color variations, knots, wormholes, or other natural occurrences. Our blue mountain live edge lumber is carefully handled to retain the shape of the tree's natural edge and the bark is left intact so that a rustic, unique piece emerges every time. This means that no one in the world will have a piece just like yours.

purchase 2. overall easy to assemble but one took me some effort for the last bolt to thread in. Important to keep them all loose and only tighten after all installed and able to freely thread in by hand. product as expected. 4 stars only because although is rustic look, but some corners need a better finish to remove lose/pealing off excess.. No true country home is complete without a rocker. Whether you have a porch, a patio, or even a stoop, this rocker is just the piece to complete your authentic country living. This rocker is built like their best-selling rocker, only with a honeyed finish they call Alzamora. The Alzamora series from Charlton Home features a golden, honeyed finish. Each log is individually cut before going through a curing process. This process helps extend the life of the wood by preventing mold and mildew, insect infestation, and rendering them fire-resistant. All the logs are pre-cracked to prevent further cracking from the natural expansion and contraction that occurs with weather changes. They are then sealed with a clear coat of varnish for a glossy finish. To extend the life of your product, and protect the finish, please use it in a covered space.

This was good value for the price but it is OKAY quality. It looks nice on our front porch. The assembly instructions are not good. There is a front and back to the rocker legs so watch for that. Also be careful using a cordless screwdriver...we had some wood chip and broke off some of the screwheads. So manually screw in the last little bit of each screw.
