I would have given this 5 stars because assembly instructions and supplied hardware were accurate and easy to follow. Nice details. Everything lined up and fit perfectly until the last piece-of course, which is the top. There is an unsightly gap that could not be closed. I would send it back for a replacement but Wayfair charges for shipping it back to the price of the item. The carriers beat up the package during transit for sure. I’m really impressed with this 2-tier bookcase with drawer! Assembly was very easy, and once put together, it feels extremely sturdy and well-made. What really stood out to me is the drawer. I’ve purchased furniture from other companies where the drawers can feel wobbly, loose, or just not very well constructed. That is definitely not the case with this one! The drawer feels solid, stays in place, and glides along the rails so smoothly when opening and closing. I also love the rustic finish—it gives it a beautiful, warm look while still being practical. The open shelves provide plenty of room for books and decor, while the drawer is perfect for keeping smaller items tucked away.
