This is a handcrafted hollow fireplace mantel. Our mantels are hand-made with love and passion. These mantels are as beautiful as they are useful, robust, light, and elegant. The distressed look is achieved by hand with attention to detail. As a result, no two beams are the same and your beam will be one-of-a-kind. Dimensions may vary slightly from selected, due to the nature of the wood and the time effect on it. We use pine boards for our distressed mantels. The final product might appear a bit lighter or darker because of the lighting and nature of the wood.

These shelves look really nice and I love the rustic, natural wood look. I haven’t installed them yet, so I can’t speak to how easy they are to install or how sturdy they are once mounted. The shelves are solid wood, but not a single piece of solid wood. Rather, each shelf in the shelf set I received has two pieces of wood glued together. What a beautiful, solid shelf! It was perfect for this spot in our powder bathroom. I had been looking for just the right shelf for quite awhile spent a lot of time poring through photos and reviews. I did not realize how difficult it would be to find a shelf of this size, of good quality, and to not to spend 100… I am very pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend. The walnut color is beautiful! I bought the 24 inch wide shelf. Keep in mind, the shelf itself is pretty heavy. You’ll definitely want to use the anchors provided, or be certain you are attaching it to wall studs. I do wish it was sold as a single, since I only needed one shelf. But, I’ll be looking for another spot in our home to hang the second one! Or might resell the extra one. Tip for installation once I found the height and measured where I wanted to center it on the wall, I marked the center hole and installed that anchor and screw, but left the screw kind of loose, so I could toggle the bracket with a level, and make sure the bracket was perfectly straight before continuing. I’m somewhat handy, and was able to install it myself within 45 minutes (including deciding on a perfect spot, measuring, gathering tools, etc.).
