took me 4 hrs to assemble. good quality but the slats at the top feels thin I’m worried it might broke. i haven’t put the mattress yet so we’ll see i also feel like its missing another wood for the bottom part which should hold the 2 poles on the right side. overall it looks very nice and i got it on sale so im happy with it.. It was just what we needed, but then we moved....... We are still using it in our new place, but boy can I see what a space saver this would have been in her other room. Not that her current room is large or anything. My soon to be 9 year old daughter is enjoying it , but compared to another bunk I bought through wayfair, it is far less sturdy. I tried to jam it hard into a corner to add as much support as possible. My husband and I also double checked all the connections, but you can feel the pressure on the ladder as you climb up to the top. This bothers me a little, but she is still small enough. It might be a bigger issue for a teenager. For me, it is a notable issue, so I'll place this piece at a 4 star. However, overall, the piece does the trick on space saving with a desk included. This bed is AWESOME! My 9yo daughter loves it and so does her 11yo brother. She’s tall for her age and our ceilings are on the low side (house built in 1982), but she’s able to be comfortable when she’s in her bed without issue. I wanted to find something to maximize her small bedroom and allow flexibility. Right now she has a little sofa under it, but as she grows, we’ll be able to rearrange the space into something different! She went from hating her room to loving it. It did have a small flaw on the white pieces, but it was small enough to not worry about, considering what the kids will put it through. Cannot recommend this bed enough. Overall the bed is nice. My son really wanted a loft type bed so we chose this one for the look and also based on the good reviews. A lot of people said it was fairly easy to put together. The directions kinda sucked and it was just annoying to put together. Everything was labeled nicely at least. The insert with the Allen type key bolt isn’t our favorite type of securing mechanism but we cut the Allen key and made a drill bit making it a lot easier. Some of the wood pieces weren’t perfect or hollowed out enough. A piece actually came damaged but Wayfair sent out a new one right away, which was much appreciated. It doesn’t feel like the most solid structure. It’s fine to be sleeping on but I did warn my 4 year old not to be jumping or hanging on it. Time will tell how it holds up.. Gina. Ny, NY. After purchasing another wooden loft bed also from Wayfair that not only came with a few damaged pieces, but missing pieces as well my husband and I were hesitant about this bed, but were surprised. This bed is very well built and made from solid wood. It feels sturdy, durable, and secure, which is exactly what I was looking for. An additional 6 to 10 inches in height would make it even more attractive and provide better support when sitting up in bed.
