Assembly wasn’t too hard to understand like others are making it seem, just gotta use your brain. The hardest part was fitting into tight corners to tighten some of the camber bolts and whatnot. I'm very happy with this bed. It slides away and unfolds very easily. It took a long time to put together, but the instructions were very clear and every piece lined up perfectly. It looks great in my room. I also bought a 6" folding mattress to go in it. I haven't tried to put it away in the cabinet yet, but when I measure, there appears to be plenty of room for it.. Linda. Well made. Easy to put together. One suggestion is to number the parts with a small removable sticker. A lot of the parts are similar. Mattress is not useful. I don’t have a picture showing the bookcase side headboard, but it’s very nice. The base has so much storage and the whole thing is sturdy. This is my daughter’s tiny college bedroom so storage was important! It took a Wayfair professional assembler over 4 hours to put it together, and she did a fantastic job. The only complaint is FedEx which lostmisplaced all my orders and they were awful about accountability. I went to the service center and after 2 hours of searching, we found my orders and they put them in my car. It was in 2 boxes and weighed a ton. Trash! I bought a 4" tri-fold mattress like the specifications say and it doesn't even fold up with the mattress like it's supposed to. My guest, who was going to use it, sat down and the wood pieces broke and my guest fell through! My guest doesn't even weigh 200 lbs and this is supposed to hold 400 lbs. It took several tries to get a delivery that wasn’t damaged but it went together easily ( couple in our 80’s). Folds so efficiently that there is room in the bottom drawer for things other than bedding. Nice clean lines, good paint job, and no complaints about the comfort of the mattress.
