This mat works great. You do need a Phillips head screwdriver and 3 AA batteries to put it together. I got the mat for the garage door leading into the house. It is our most frequently used door from the outside and we can wipe our feet upon entering and have a light for quick trips to the garage that does not require turning on the overhead garage lights.
