This table is beyond my expectations! The quality is outstanding so I feel that I received all the value and more for the money I spent. My husband and I were able to put it together with no problems. All chairs and the table are solid and very sturdy. The chairs seats are definitely brown. I read on a review that they were a bit pinky, but I don’t see that. The packaging was excellent and there are no unexpected marks on any of the pieces. I would highly recommend this table.. Debbie. This is a really beautiful and sturdy dining set! I love the light maple wood top and seats (it is a little more yellow than it is white maple). And the cream legs and chair backs is the perfect match for the table! It fits perfectly with my farmhouse decor. It was somewhat easy to put together, however there are a few pre drilled holes that are hard to get the bolts into, and the chair seats do not have any pre-drilled holes for the screws, so make sure you have an electric screwdriver!. This dining set is a gentle softness.

We had a very difficult time getting the 2 table top halves to separate to reveal the leaf. It turns out, the manufacturer physically **drilled screws** into the bottom of the table closed and there was nothing in the instructions telling us this detail. These "remove" block pieces blend in with the rest of the wood on the bottom of the table. They did stamp "remove," on them but again, these blocks blend into the table and unless you know to look for them, they can easily be missed. The bottom also has some interior damage I'm assuming from transit but it's hidden so I guess not a big deal aesthetic wise, but for integrity, time will tell. This set is beautiful, a perfect size for my space. It is as pictured. The cherry finish is not overly “ red”. Matches my cabinetry very well. Solid feeling set, chain/ gears for the expansion leaf. There was a small nick in table edge, should cover easily. There was a scratch , maybe just in the varnish, of the pedestal base, won’t easily be seen. I LOVE this dining set! I got it in the natural tone and it is perfect. The chair upholstery is more beige than cream, which works for me. I am doing a cream/ beige monotone home and this fits right in. The seats are a little stiff but still comfortable. It was a challenge to put it all together!! Took me most of a day. Had to have help to lift and place the table top. But was worth it. The directions are not great but I figured it out. All the parts were there and no damage to anything. Feels sturdy. I am using it as an oval with the leaf in. Very roomy for 4 people. Delivered inside my home 3 days after ordering. Just be careful with the last 6 screws for the chairs. I am very happy with this set. It took an evening to put together (3 hrs) by myself. I am a 69 yr old lady. The only thing I couldn't do by myself was flip the table upright. This is a very heavy, solid wood set. The finish is darker than the picture, which I am glad. Much more dark cherry/ mahogany color than the orangey tone on the website. I thought the chair seats were black but the seat part is a very deep brown. Looks black from afar. The assembly was easy and the directions were clear.
