Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. It’s a cute table! The expansion is really easy and the color is just as it looks in photos when in natural light (my photos are under artificial light though). My only complaint is that the table top isn’t aligned with the pegs on the bottom. See how the lines don’t match up Especially when you expand, and it’s an oval, you’ll see the misalignment more..
