I bought this with the matching dishes. I love the whole set. The quality is great and it came direct from red vanilla (the actual manufacturer). They came well packaged without any issues. The platter and serving bowl do not fit in my upper cabinets but that could be because my cabinets are older and the door is inset. Otherwise, they would fit. I do wish there was a gravy boat and other serving bowl sizes but there are very few dish sets with those available anymore. I ordered 2 sets of the cream colored dinnerware sets. They were packed perfectly with absolutely no flaws, breaks or cracks. The color is definitely a cream color as seen in my photos, in comparison to the white in the photos. This set is absolutely gorgeous, both elegant and casual. The dinner plates fit perfectly in my cabinets with door closing easily. The salad plates are a great size, as well as the mugs. The bowls are perfect for soup, cereal, ice cream, etc. It's always a good idea to read the measurements of each to determine if they are right for you. The dinner plates I received all measure 11 3/8". They even have a "shelf" at the bottom of the plate for support to prevent any pressure from use, to break the plate. They just barely grazed the front of the cabinet shelf but the door closed perfectly without touching the dinnerware. This set is absolutely beautiful and received as described!. Sharon.
