Each section can be arranged separately to fit your space, or all the pieces can be securely clamped together to create one solid, connected unit. Ok, this is a fabulous set, you will need some time to put it together. You have to hold the nut in place with the provided wrench while spinning the bolt with the Allen wrench. At times it was a bit difficult due to the placement of the whole. The cushions are a bright blue color and are firm and comfortable. The weave of the furniture is high quality.
