Amazing product. Very good quality and really worked for me and the purpose I wanted it. The only thing is that I decided to not add the sides pieces since I didn’t need it and wanted this to be in the middle of the kitchen. This is the best quality thing Ive bought from Wayfair, ever! Ive assembled furniture for almost 30 years and Ive never seen a better quality item! The directions were clear, the parts clearly labeled, and the hardware pieces were bagged by group and also clearly labeled. Ive never seen hardware so clearly labeled. Usually furniture that you put together uses wooden or plastic towels, screws, and bolts with cams that you turn to lock. The interlocking pieces for this item actually had multiple flip locks built into the pieces and the dowels were already firmly installed. They werent flimsy wooden ones, either. Doesn’t seem that sturdy. All while I was putting it together it kind of rocked back and forth. I’m not planning on having to move it around that much though. I purchased this kitchen island to add more counter space and storage, and overall I'm happy with it. It was delivered quickly, and everything arrived in good condition. The island looks just like the photos, the colors are attractive, and it's a great size for my kitchen. The assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow, making the setup process straightforward. One of my favorite features is the amount of storage it provides. The cabinets and shelves offer plenty of room for kitchen essentials, and I really like the seating ledge, which creates a convenient spot for a quick meal or extra seating. There are a few downsides, though. The back panel of the cabinet is made from a very flimsy material and did not fit as shown in the instructions. We had to improvise to get it installed properly. My bigger concern is that this same back panel is where people's feet naturally rest when sitting at the seating ledge, so I'm not confident it will hold up well over time. Also, the top has a laminate finish rather than feeling like real wood, so keep that in mind if you're expecting a solid wood surface. Overall, I think this is a good kitchen island for the price. It adds valuable counter space, storage, and seating, and it looks nice once assembled.
