I ordered two of these myself and a friend of mine installed them on a wooden platform that we built. We tied them down to the ground with under pinning and they have survived already two major hurricanes with 80 and 100 mile per hour winds. These are nice and roomy on the inside. They blend in great with the backdrop of the woods around my house with the light top color and without having any electricity nearby, the skylight that runs down the middle provides ample light on the inside.. Features include steel-reinforced resin construction for superior strength and stability, reinforced floor for heavier items, and pad-lockable metal lever handles to keep contents safe.

The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together. Overall for price and size this shed is worth it. My only other suggestion would be to anchor it down to protect against adverse weather.. Anonymous. Cheshire County, NH. Tue May 05 2026

Use narrow outdoor areas efficiently with the DuraMax SideMate Plus 4 ft. x 8 ft. Vinyl Lean-To Storage Shed. The reversible door helps adapt access to your layout, reinforced framing adds support, and the included foundation helps create a stable installation.

This worked out well for our needs. Definitely not a one-person assembly job as some pieces either didn't align exactly right or needed someone else to hold pieces together so they could be attached. The holes in the door don't align very well so it's hard to attach a small lock to keep the door from swinging outward. Everything was labeled and the instructions (mostly pictures with directional arrows) were easy to follow enough. If you can assemble Lego sets, the assembly instructions were about the same method. Yes, you need a floor. Do measure the space before buying and cutting (tip - HD will give you one free cut on the giant board. Having it in two pieces makes it much easier to install inside). We also needed a ladder to assemble the roof. It is a bit flimsy though it worked well for us as we installed this in the small space between the house and fence, nestled up against another part of a fence that does not open. That way, we're not worried about it blowing over with heavy winds. [I was incentivized by Wayfair with a monetary reward in exchange for a review]. Diana. San Jose, CA. Thu Apr 23 2026

This 11-foot wide storage shed from Lifetime provides the perfect space for a tool shop, outdoor gear and ATVs, or even a place to park your car. Lockable steel-reinforced doors provide added security to protect valuable items, and six shatterproof polycarbonate windows illuminate the interior with natural light. The spacious interior, heavy-duty steel-reinforced construction and low-maintenance design gives you a durable garage or workshop, and is the perfect solution to your storage needs. Consult local building codes before assembly. Note: This shed must be built on a flat level foundation of wood or concrete (not included). It is designed with a slight indentation in each corner of the floor so that you can drill through the flooring to secure it to the foundation. Anchoring hardware depends on the type of foundation you have and is therefore not included in the shed kit. Our window walls are interchangeable with any of the shed’s side walls, so you can place them wherever they best fit your layout and lighting needs! Consult all local building codes to verify if the shed requires a building permit.

After a year it is still standing after 2 winters in New England. Snow slides right off no more shoveling the shed roof off. I build a 12x12 deck platform out of 2x6 for this to site on and works great. The took a day with two people. It has held together pretty well. The 1 thing I hate the most is the doors. They really need to re-engineer the doors as they are junk. They slide and move, I think I will need to rebuild this summer and make them more solid. No leads, it holds the ATV and Lawn tractor.. The Imperial Metal garage is the strongest steel outdoor building you can find today. While most metal garages have thin, flimsy walls that dent and ding soon after you assemble them, metal garages have thicker steel walls and a special rib design for greater strength and dent resistance. Arrow floor frame kits are the perfect accessory for your new shed. They provide the galvanized metal framework foundation to add a strong floor if your shed is placed on grass, gravel, or bare earth. The frame will raise the floor above ground level to help with drainage and help keep your items clean and dry. Metal framing only attaches plywood to complete your shed floor. Use 5/8 minimum thickness, exterior grade plywood that has a waterproof adhesive.
