This turned out to be a great purchase and exactly what I needed. It was quick and easy to assemble, and the mattress is truly 5 inches with good-quality memory foam-my Pops says it’s very comfortable and said he doesn't need a mattress topper. It’s easy to open at night and store in the morning, rolls smoothly without scratching my floors, feels sturdy with the wheels locked, and fits perfectly in my small living room closet. I’m very pleased with the quality. For extra peace of mind, I did purchase a thin rubber floor runner to roll it on when moving it to and from the closet, and I added quarter-size felt pads under the legs for additional floor protection. I was a little skeptical because this Kitchen Island was fairly inexpensive. I opted to pay to have it assembled and that was done today. I love it. It has as much space as i hoped since it was only 43" long and the cabinets and drawers are ample size to hold a lot of kitchen items. This is so much more useful than the table and chairs for two that I had there before. The Island is sturdy, attractive and versatile. The stools are very comfortable. My only complaint is that before ordering I called Wayfair customer service to find out if I could purchase the item but delay delivery. The person i spoke to assured me that as soon as I had a tracking number I could contact Fed Ex and reschedule. I got the tracking number too late to stop the delivery which came in two days instead of three as noted on the order. Most people would not complain about this but I had a flight the day of delivery; luckily it arrived before I had to leave for the airport. Worked well for our studio vacation rental, where people occasionally don't read the description and don't realize it only offers one queen bed until they walk in! We had to flip the footboard to where we were putting the headboard to make the holes match - so before you panic, try that! I’m not sure if this is a flaw, or my husband not fully reading the directions. I’m hoping this can be fixed. There is a lot of room inside to store equipment, or to keep food before a party. The stainless top will make it easy to wipe down while preparing raw food. I was really happy with the Navy color, it is significantly darker than the pictures online.
