As it’s getting dark in the evening, and the lights are on in our kitchenfamily room, you can see everything in our home almost as clearly as if the shade were not in place. Also, my home is fully automated with Alexa control. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes. I was happy to find these shades for our patio. Hadn't had much luck except to order custom made at three times the price! I wish these were offered in shorter lengths....96 x 96 is 3 feet longer than the openings on my patio, but we can unroll them to the floor at almost 8 feet, or just leave them at the top of our brick wall and have extra fabric on the roll. Was looking for something to help protect my kitchen vegetable garden from the Florida sun, I have vegetables that require full sun, but it’s just too much for them here. This worked out perfectly. I strung it up with some error, cord, and attached to some 4 x 4 posts. The post are 2 feet higher on one side to allow for a little more morning, sun and afternoon shade, and to help keep the cloth from dipping too low. I purchased the 60” wide sunshades in gray. I wanted them to be inset in the frame of my screened in patio, which is 60.5”. Unfortunately, they were too wide so we had to mount them on the outside of the frame. Also, just note that the fabric is about an inch short in width than the metal roller.
