I have been looking for bistro chairs for at least two years. I needed 8 chairs so I needed to keep the cost down per chair but I wanted them to "look" more expensive. The wood and shape had to be the right color and style. Also, I wanted the weave not to be a big checkerboard pattern which to me looks a bit cheap. This chair is perfect. I love the tight weave, the wood color and the chair's style , which makes it look like look like a much more expensive chair. And it is comfortable to sit in. We purchased the chairs for our new house to go with a dining table we purchased about three years ago. They are even nicer in person than represented on the website. They are comfortable and beautiful in our dining room. My husband had a couple of problems with assembling the chairs. I took away one star because two of the bolts to attach the legs were broken in the hardware package, and there weren't extra bolts included.
