The unit works very well. It cools quickly, and it's not too loud, for a portable AC. It's even smaller than the old one it replaced. I"m very satisfied with it. I took out a star for the delivery; it was quick, but they must have dumped the box from a moving truck. One of the panels in the installation kit that goes on the window arrived broken. The AC itself turned out to be undamaged, and I was able to install it without the broken panel. Wayfair offered me a partial refund and everything was OK. This came just in the nick of time with temperatures getting in the in the unbearable ranges. It was easy to put together and install without directions but I still did read directions to make sure everything perfect based on previous experiences with portable AC units. I have this in a 9x12 room and on the first night, it took quite some time to cool down, the room temperature was 93 when I started it around 9 pm and it reached 73 around 2 am. All windows and doors were closed so no hot air was flowing into the room. It won’t cool down the space as well as a traditional HVAC but it’s great help if it’s all you have.. Michele. US.
