These are old pictures so don’t mind the mess, but I love that the bed looks black from afar but up close you can see the weathered espresso brown. Beware of the height though! I had to leave one of the top posts off in order to be able to still use the ceiling fan. I don’t mind that though. Anonymous. Thu Oct 08 2026

This exquisite 5-piece bedroom set is masterfully crafted from solid wood, featuring a bed, two nightstands, a dresser, and a mirror. Each piece combines classic design elements with a modern twist, while the natural wood finish highlights unique grain patterns for added elegance.

Lovely and nicely crafted but very heavy (80 lbs.) Barclay Butera mirror from his Malibu collection looks lovely hanging in an alcove near our dining table. One cautionary note: Suggest possibility of hiring a professional to hang this one after my husband made several concentrated efforts. Rather than using one 100 lb. hook, he finally wired the mirror through the D rings and hung the wire on three 100 lb. hooks so the weight would be more evenly distributed. By the way, we were concerned about the sheetrock being unable to support the weight of the mirror, so he first placed a 1 x 6 board behind the mirror before applying the hooks. (Better safe than sorry.) A professional might have done it differently, but it was well worth the effort overall. Pleased to have discovered this piece on the Perigold website.. Suzanne. Great bed! a bit more beige than expected but loss of the star if for the slats being individual rather than connected by cloth strips also this product could be improved by adding only one additional slat. Currently there are 5 inches between each slat. most mattress companies recommend no more than a 3" gap to prevent sagging.. Leslie. Sat Oct 03 2026
