These are lovely lights. I purchased 3 to hang from a high cathedral ceiling.The fabric has a very soft pattern that I believe helps to diffuse the light. Although the fabric appears a bright white, and depending on the bulbs you pick, when they are on, it is soft and muted. We put ours on a dimmer, and they can be bright or a really soft accent. At night, stunning. These are very elegant and I feel they can be used in any setting from mid century, to traditional. In my case, it is transitional.These are semi flush mount, and I needed them to hang about 3 feet lower, so we were able to find matching brass rods and the connectors and it looks wonderful. Fun retro style light. I’m excited to get this hung up, unfortunately there was a small piece missing that I’ll have to replace first. Otherwise everything was included and packaged extremely well. The bottom is laser cut plexiglass and the top dome a white glass. Overall very fun and different. Update - I received the missing piece and was able to assemble the light. Overall nice light! Take caution while installing the 3 set screws that hold the bottom half in to the top half of the light. The “heads” of them are threaded into the same screw and the head simply came off while trying to loosen to take the bottom half off.
