This shade was a great replacement for the old, yellow one that broke. It features a soft, bright matte white finish. Although it comes with a cap equipped with two holes for pull chains, only the center chain is functional because the opening is too narrow to use the fan chain—at least for my model of fan. I liked the light until I put a up another light fixture where the crystal had more prism in it and decided I need to go with a fixture of lighting to be more prismatic in that space so for that reason I will be returning this fixture . It’s still a great light but goes better in a simpler space than the look we are going for after seeing it in the entryway against the other hall light it just isn’t a good fit now .. Lisa. US.
