Assembly was easy. These are comfortable. They wipe down well. Yes, some crumbs get caught in certain parts of the construction but it wipes right out. I prefer the low backs as my dining table floats in my room. These chairs are like a dining room version of a club or game table chair, which is perfect for our home. These chairs make sitting around the table a pleasure. Comfortable for dining, the long conversation that may continue at the table when guests are over, and sitting for long periods to play games. There's enough room in the seat to adjust your position for those long sits and the cushion is just enough to pad but offer support. And bonus, they are really attractive with a pretty color. 6 months since I purchased these chairs: These chairs look great in person. My household ranges in people from 40lbs to 280lbs and these chairs hold up well for everyone. I have received many compliments on these chairs. I do wonder about the faux leather fabric holding up over time, but so far so good. I’m sick of hard chairs. I wanted something comfy and padded and swively so people would stay at the table instead of migrating to softer furniture with food and for playing board games. Yet, I wanted a wipeable surface because…kids. I *almost* got what I was looking for with these chairs. They look nice and modern, they swivel well (some get a bit loose), and they are comfortable. The two cons that I have are 1) I wish the angle of the chair was a little more upright and 2) my niece spilled a drink and it seeped down to the padding because of the holes where the stitching makes “stripes”, so they definitely aren’t waterproof which makes me sad. The chairs are nice but there were several issues assembling them. The screws did not line up very well with the holes they were supposed to screw into. One hole was filled with glue or something and we spent at least 30 minutes trying to get the bolt threaded.
