The quality of this "iron" gazebo is pretty disappointing. It feels like aluminum and the panels are plastic and are scratched looking put of the box. There is discoloration on one of the panels. Maybe from being in the sun? I am not sure exactly it appears whiteish on the gray panel. Not great since it is meant to be outside. Some of the parts that are metal are bent and scratched. The assembly instructions are awful as well. I have an event in a few days that I purchased this for so hopefully it will come together and not look absolutely cheap and rickety once it is fully assembled. Great looking pergola with easy to follow instructions. Took two adults about 7 hours to build with breaks in between. We also used the recommended expansion bolts to secure it to our cement patio. The wood is very soft so it does dent and scratch easily while we were building it but it doesnt look bad at all. Be prepared for assembly. You'll need the following: spray dish soap for lubrication, a rubber mallet and a phillips-head screwdriver. Fortunately, it's only four screws, the rest is like putting together a Lego set. It just takes some serious pounding with the rubber mallet to get the pieces to go together, and I mean serious pounding. Just fair warning. The dish soap helps to get things going. We’re very happy with this gazebo. The finished product looks even better in person than in the photos and adds a modern, high-end look to our patio. The combination of the black steel frame and wood-tone posts complements our home beautifully, and it feels very sturdy and well-built. Assembly was straightforward. It took two people about 4 hours to complete the installation, and the instructions were easy to follow. All of the parts were well packaged and arrived in good condition. The frame lined up properly, and there were no major issues during assembly. Overall, this was an excellent purchase.
