This is great. I was looking for a permanent solution to keep the dog from the front door and a way to separate the dogs from my niece when she visits. This is perfect fix. It opens and closes easily with adult human hands, meaning the dogs or my niece can’t open it. It also has a lock, which will be great when my niece is a little older. This gate is amazing! My dog is terrible about going upstairs and getting on the girls beds. We were struggling to find an attractive looking gate that was wide enough for our large stairs (and black!!! Its not brown). The gate is designed so it stays how you put it. You can stretch it or shrink it as much as desired and it just stays. I love that it slides rather than opens and closes with a door. It makes it much more versatile and compact. It comes with the option to put legs on it that can either roll or pegs to make it stationary. We did not use them because they are too wide for the stairs. This gate is awesome. The expandable fence is as described. It seems well constructed and is very easy to put together. I am going to use it to block off an area for my dog. She is smaller so I’ll be adding something at the bottom for the gap, which is not an issue because most moveable fences have a gap at the bottom. I like that these are not super heavy so I can move them into place and put them away easily. I’ll note that I recognize that my dog can push through or knock over the fence because it’s lighter in weight. Definitely not thrilled with it. Some of the pieces were put together backwards. The keepers were put on upside down and the screws actually don’t even hold them incorrectly so they are basically worthless, making it very cumbersome to move around since you can’t clamp them together.
