The instructions could have used more details (but I only had to flip one panel after I screwed it in because instructions were unclear, they were mostly fine) but the structure and pieces where all sturdy and enough to secure the full bookcase. We're overall very happy with the bookshelf and cube system. It looks great in our family room and corrals our kids' toys.
