I gave 4 stars mostly for my own fault. the table is pretty narrow. My own bad for not seeing just how narrow it is. Its just wide enough for 2 dinner plates to be across from each other. With 2 people sitting on the ends and 4 people around the table (2 on each side) there is barley enough room for plates and glasses, no extra room for serving platters. The table is beautiful and very sturdy. Assembly was a bit challenging as a few pilot holes were not aligned well so we had to manually adjust.
