This ceiling fan is a really nice unit. However, the instructions (obviously a "so so" translation from a foreign language into English) were not entirely clear throughout. Assembly and installation of the fan required a fair amount of "handy man" knowledge and experience to get through some unclear/confusing parts of the instructions. We have a "Florida basement" storage room in our modern organic coastal home that needed a light. This was perfect, nice (not cheap) quality and a little fun.
