Exactly as expected. Strong, high quality mailbox that arrived quickly. Installation: Easy to attach to a mounting plate using the holes on the bottom of the exterior sides. It’s petty heavy, so be sure to attach to a strong post - I got the Gibraltar Landover post (which is actually hollow) and slid it over a 4x4 sunk 17” into the ground which is 30” above ground (so the 4x4 is a total of 47”). It looks great and was definitely worth the money to upgrade from the low-quality, dented mailbox that the prior owners had chosen. I got custom decals elsewhere to finish the look.. Marion. We have a two mailbox post that was ran over by a vehicle, denting the metal mailboxes. So I replaced the post and the mailboxes with these and not only are the functional, but the look nice on the street. This is a well made product. I had a cheaper address plate for the top of our mailbox and it faded away within 1 year. This is a cast product with paint and it should last many years. Now no one can miss our driveway. We share a driveway with our neighbor and their mailbox shows up first on our street. We have had delivery companies buzz by and have to come back to our home.
