This shade was a great replacement for the old, yellow one that broke. It features a soft, bright matte white finish. Although it comes with a cap equipped with two holes for pull chains, only the center chain is functional because the opening is too narrow to use the fan chain—at least for my model of fan. Blades are nice. They are wider than my original blades and the holes weren't exactly where I needed them. Thankfully my husband drilled new holes for me where they could be installed. The only problem now is the whole fan and lights shake when the fan is on high. Medium shakes a little and low speed is perfect. It will work until we can replace the whole fan.. Marjorie.
